Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a staff member for Kriscentrum Boende Heder. Kriscentrum Boende Heder is a HVB (home for care or accommodation) for girls and young women aged 14–22 who are exposed to honor-related violence and have a need for protection. In exceptional cases, the accommodation can also receive girls/young women without children who are exposed to violence in close relationships. All placements are preceded by contact with social services and can occur both planned and emergency, around the clock.

As a social worker, you will work to investigate the need for protection according to HEVA. In addition, the work consists of being a support for the placed individuals based on the acute crisis situation they are in. It is therefore important to have a good understanding of crisis and trauma.

Throughout the placement period, you will work closely with the placing social worker.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least one year of current experience working with honor-exposed individuals. We also want you to have experience working in a protected accommodation. For employment, it is required that you have completed training and worked with HEVA. Since the operation also receives individuals in need of protection due to violence in close relationships, it is required that you have undergone training in FREDA.

It is an advantage if you have training and/or experience in the following areas:

• MI
• TMO
• Feedback information treatment
• Investigation within Children and Family

As a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills that allow you to listen and show interest and understanding for others. You have a good approach and the ability to quickly create good relationships with others.

Furthermore, you should be able to plan your work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You have great drive, are attentive, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Given the nature of the operations, it is of great importance that you communicate clearly, and that you are self-assured and able to create trust.

You should be able to make quick and clear decisions that may involve difficult choices. You should be able to take your own initiatives, act confidently, and work independently. It is important that you contribute to the workgroup and see the importance of being a team player.

You should have the ability to listen, consult colleagues/supervisors, and communicate proactively.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you master other languages, this is an advantage. A driving license for a manually shifted car is desirable but not a requirement.
